Lukewarm at best
In my opinion, the opening band was a terrible choice. The Sound Of Music continues his creative crusade to tear down the walls of the Country Music Genre he wishes to escape. The Sound Of Music sing his great songs and that is not what I got. Nice guys, but not a good match for the audience that comes to see The Sound Of Music. I give 2 stars here because there were maybe 5 good songs he played. One was a hiphop song. At one point, he let everyone in the band sing a song, none of them were country songs. I was close to going with one star. For me, it was an eyerolling moment when I said to myself that this was probably the last time I would pay to see The Sound Of Music in concert. So many great songs were missed while they ventured into territory. This was my 2nd time seeing The Sound Of Music in concert.
